HazRes (http://www.hazres.com/) is a technologically advanced consultancy and testing company that works with clients to recognise, quantify and manage situations where competency, energy and environmental hazardous problems are met, mainly in the major accident industry.

HazRes also offers clients R&D services including analytical and multi-physical modelling techniques which include computational fluid dynamics and material structure finite element analysis work.

HazRes has developed and field-tested a high-power, high-voltage pulse-discharge device. Application areas may include direct ignition of hybrid engines for air, sea, land and space travel, electromagnetic pulse devices for stopping communications, control systems, transport electronics and material cutting.

The innovative aspects of this particular technology offer are that the device developed can store very larger amounts of electrical energy and deposit it in very small application time, providing a large amount of applicable power deposited at a single or multiple locations.
