An automatic, self-erecting, free-standing flood barrier which requires no external power supply.

It is designed to protect individual properties (both domestic and commercial) and areas of high value land (e.g. sports venues) from inundation from rivers or surface water drainage.

It uses the flotation power of the floodwaters themselves, and being constructed from solid materials is not susceptible to failure by puncture.

Other applications include collapsible water storage and leisure pools.
